Participation in ACCORD (Advanced Components Cooperation for Optoelectronics Research and Development) was open to universities and companies in the European Union.
Two types of organisation could participate in ACCORD:
- Device Providers: Companies who wished to provide photonic devices to the ACCORD project, to be loaned to University Research Groups;
- Device Recipients: University Research Groups who wished to evaluate such photonic devices and make results available to the scientific community.
In order to participate, Device Providers and Device Recipients had to first become Members of ACCORD by registering with the project on this Website.
