Participation in ACCORD (Advanced Components Cooperation for Optoelectronics Research and Development) is open to universities and companies in the European Union.
Two types of organisation can participate in ACCORD:
- Device Providers: Companies who wish to provide photonic devices to the ACCORD project, to be loaned to University Research Groups;
- Device Recipients: University Research Groups who wish to evaluate such photonic devices and make results available to the scientific community.
In order to participate, Device Providers and Device Recipients must first become Members of ACCORD by registering with the project on this Website on the To Register page.
After registering the new Member can log-in to the Member’s Area using the Username and Password generated at registration. When in the Member’s Area go to the To Submit a Proposal page. It will then be possible to submit a proposal to provide or receive a device on-line. Please remember to state which proposed Device you wish to work with.
After the Call closes, the ACCORD Partners will manage a peer review of the relative merits of each proposal. Members will then be informed of the outcome of this process and all parties can then proceed to set up the detailed formalities for each Device Research Project.
