| | Q. What is the objective of ACCORD? | A. The ACCORD project has the objective to put pre-competitive photonic components and systems in the hands of researchers and students, at no net cost to the university or to the company that furnishes the prototypes and to facilitate transfer of the evaluation results to potential end-users assisting companies to access new markets and new applications.
| | Q. What kind of organisations can participate in ACCORD? | A. Two types of organisation can participate in ACCORD: * Device Providers: Companies who wish to provide photonic devices to the ACCORD project, to be loaned to University Research Groups; * Device Recipients: University Research Groups who wish to evaluate such photonic devices and make results available to the scientific community.
